Postural Assessment & Training For Bodies Built Around a Desk
There is no single perfect posture. There is a position your body can hold comfortably, and the strength to change position often — and that is what we build.

The best posture is the next one
Posture problems are rarely about sitting up straight. They are about staying in one position for hours without the strength or the prompts to change it. Pain follows sustained load, not a particular shape.
We assess how you actually sit and work, correct the setup where it fights you, and build the endurance in your neck, shoulder and trunk muscles that holding a decent position requires. Then we make changing position a habit.
- Assessment of your real workstation — photos or a video call from your desk
- Specific equipment recommendations, with cheap options that work
- Endurance training for the muscles that fatigue first
- Movement prompts that fit a working day rather than disrupting it

Change the setup, build the endurance
Exercises without fixing the desk fail. Fixing the desk without building endurance fails too.

-
2 Week 1
Fix the Setup
Specific changes to desk, chair and screen — with low-cost options that genuinely work.

-
One therapist, start to finish
You are not passed between staff. The physiotherapist who assesses you is the one who treats you through to discharge.
-
Objective progress tracking
Range, strength and function are measured and charted — so "getting better" is a number, not a feeling.
-
Honest session estimates
We tell you upfront roughly how many sessions this should take, and we tell you when you no longer need us.
-
Comprehensive initial assessment
A thorough consultation with a physiotherapist before you commit to anything.
-
Extended evening hours
Appointments until 8:30pm on weekdays so treatment fits around work rather than competing with it.
-
Fully equipped gym floor
Proper loading equipment on site — you cannot rebuild strength with resistance bands alone.

Ten years of afternoon headaches that I blamed on stress. It was my monitor height and a weak neck. Six weeks and they are mostly gone.

They asked me to send photos of my actual desk rather than describing it. The changes cost me about eight hundred rupees and fixed more than a year of stretching had.

We had them in for a team session. Four of my staff have stopped complaining about back pain since.

Posture and ergonomics FAQs
Still unsure? Speak to a physiotherapist on +91 99900 96269 — no charge for the conversation.
Is there such a thing as correct posture?
Not a single one. The evidence does not support one ideal spinal position, and plenty of people with textbook posture have pain. What matters is having a comfortable working position, the endurance to hold it, and the habit of changing it regularly.
Will a standing desk fix my back pain?
Not by itself. Standing all day causes its own problems. The benefit comes from alternating — the desk is useful because it makes changing position easy, not because standing is inherently better.
Do I need to buy an expensive ergonomic chair?
Usually not. Screen height, seat height and keyboard distance matter more than the chair, and most can be fixed with a laptop stand, a separate keyboard and a cushion. We suggest the cheap options first.
How long until my neck pain improves?
Setup changes often help within days. Building the muscular endurance that holds the improvement takes about six weeks of consistent work.
Do you run sessions at our office?
Yes. Corporate workshops cover group education plus individual desk assessments on site, which is far more effective than describing a setup we have not seen. Get in touch for team pricing.
Can physiotherapy help scoliosis?
For mild to moderate curves, exercise-based management can improve strength, symmetry and comfort, and help manage pain. It does not straighten a structural curve — significant progressive curves need an orthopaedic opinion, and we will say so.
